Sessional Counsellors: Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre

CRCC is recruiting Sessional Counsellors to provide counselling in the Cambridge, Huntingdon and Ely areas as part of the wider counselling service for survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
Post details:
Hours: Client allocation to be discussed and agreed depending on capacity and resources. Each client attending weekly one hour sessions for between 12-15 weeks. Timings of appointments to be negotiated with the clients and the Counselling Services Manager.
Client base: CRCC provides counselling and therapeutic support to a varied client base, including children and young people.
Location: Cambridge, Huntingdon and Ely. Travel is essential. Clients will be streamlined into one area per day of work. Please note – during the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of sessions were being delivered via telephone and video, so there is also an option to provide remote counselling.
Hourly rate: £50 (engaged on a self-employed basis and responsible for own tax and NI payments)
Contract: The contract is sessional and dependent on the funding available to CRCC.
